Pets/Service Dogs Policy

It is the policy of JDC Pediatrics to afford individuals with disabilities, who require the assistance of a service dog, equal opportunity to access our office.

Please be advised, in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, only dogs that have been trained to perform tasks directly related to a disability are permitted in JDC Pediatrics. For the health and safety of our patients and families, service dogs in the office must be harnessed, tethered, or leashed at all times. We reserve the right to ask the handler to remove the dog if the dog is displaying out of control behaviors.

Please be advised that, aside from service dogs, no other animals or pets are permitted in the offices of JDC Pediatrics. Dogs and other animals whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service dogs and are not permitted in our office.
