Dr. Henken was born in Philadelphia and is still a huge Philadelphia sports fan. He attended University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He went on to complete his D.O. at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Maine. Dr. Henken moved to Harrisburg to complete his education as an Osteopathic intern and then continued at Hershey Medical Center for his pediatric residency.
Dr. Henken has been a JDC physician and member of the Harrisburg community for thirty-plus years. Central PA has been a great place for him to live, practice medicine, and raise a family. Being a part of the lives of generations of children, parents, and grandparents has been the most rewarding facet of practicing medicine for him. He feels it has been an honor and a privilege to be a part of the JDC family. Dr Henken is looking forward to what the future holds now that his kids are all grown and on their own.
