COVID-19 Vaccine Update!

10/21/2021

We are happy to announce that JDC Pediatrics will provide the Pfizer vaccine authorized by the FDA and the CDC for ages 5-11 years of age.

We encourage you to schedule your child's appointment on our website here or through your child's patient portal account.

If you already have an upcoming scheduled appointment (i.e. a well visit) please call us ahead of time if you are interested in having your child receive the vaccine at the visit, and we will reserve a dose for you. This will help us to plan for how much vaccine to have on hand for our patients.

We regretfully inform you that due to the amount of the Pfizer vaccine that JDC is required to order and store, we must withdraw administering the vaccine to our 12 years and older age group and their parents. We are suspending our administration to this age group effective 11/13/21. Please visit the PA Department of Health’s website using the link below to locate a provider near you to receive the vaccine after this date.

JDC Pediatrics is also a vaccine provider for anyone 18 years of age and older who may need a booster vaccine with a dose of Moderna. Even if your first or second dose was not Moderna, you may still receive a Moderna booster. Please call our office to schedule an appointment for ages 18 and up.
